Late January

San Antonio has weird weather.  Hot, cold, warm, freezing, rainy ... all in the same week.
We've been taking advantage of the mild weather to get in some good walks.

Last weekend Danny, Rocket and I walked through the newly renovated Brackenridge Park.  This weekend Matt, Rocket and explored it a little more.

Today Rocket and & Walked the Museum Reach extension of the Riverwalk.  With weather in the low 80s, it was a beautiful day.

Special Effects With Rocket (and Sammy)

I like to take pictures.  I like Rocket.  I like to take pictures of Rocket. [He's very photogenic]

I have used Nikon cameras forever, but recently became the proud owner of an HTC
Evo smartphone.  The Evo has a great camera built in, so I am ready to take photos wherever I am.

There are also great photo-editing apps for the EVO.  When I discovered those, I became a maniac.  Google sent me to even more apps online.

I'm addicted.

Winter Paws

Than San Antonio Botanical Gardens ( http://www.sabot.org/) is beautiful. 

It's a great place to just walk around and enjoy the day.

Twice a year they hold Dog Days.  This is a fundraiser for local animal groups.  Today Rocket went out and wandered around with the Nature Hounds and enjoyed the sunny day with friends.

Rocket Updates

Rocket has had a busy holiday season.
Since Halloween he's been to Texas A&M several times

Visted several local and state parks



Gone on some walks wth the Nature Hounds

Viewed the lights at UIW

and generally played around

It's been a fun few weeks and Rocket's ready for spring!
